Lock & Key.

“It’s easier to clean house this time around, ya know.”

“It’s like these pieces I’m selling and giving away have spirits that are attached to them that have run their course in my life. I don’t know why I hung on so long.”

“Letting go isn’t easy. And hope is even harder to let go of.”

“I’m kinda satisfied with letting go of everything to make way for the new.”

“No you’re not. You’re holding onto one last thing, Love.”

“No, everything goes or it’s gonna be thrown in my naughty corner.”

“Then why is the furthest nook still under lock & key?”

“No one’s business. If you must know, it is a reservation.”

“For whom?”

“Why do you assume it’s a person?”

“Liz…it is always a person. Maybe it is time to get to the root of what strangled that garden beyond the door you’ve sealed. Get rid of the idea, not the memory.”

“Idea of what?”

“Of keeping him under lock & key…”

“Yeah. I can fucking relate.”
